loaning us dog clothing items for "Helping Paws Dog Fashion" held at
Dorothea Dix
Hospital on May 18, 2005 to entertain the patients & staff
RuffRider, owner/designer Carl Goldberg and
his
cousin, Helping Paws member Faith Rash, for
donating doggie safety seat belts to keep our fur-therapists safe while
traveling to and from pet therapy visits. The
seat belts were awarded to our fur-therapists who made
the most therapy dog
visits during 2003 & 2004. Ruff
Rider’s seat belts are rated strongest in the industry.
Ruff Riders “The Roadie” seat-belt harness
system will with stand 9600 pounds of force before the stitching starts
to give. By comparison, the Society of
Automotive
Engineers requires seat belts for humans to only with stand 4-5,000 lbs
of
force.
